Quote:
Kim was invited by the U.S. Government to serve as a consultant to the Ophthalmic Devices Panel of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). In this role, Dr. Kim helps to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of marketed and investigational devices used in ophthalmology. He also holds administrative appointments on multiple panels and committees organized by the AAO and ASCRS. As Consultant Ophthalmologist for the Duke Men's Basketball Team, Dr. Kim provides the ophthalmic care for the Duke Basketball players and coaches and the Duke University Athletic Association.

Here's what NOT to do - don't give patients with large pupils undersized ablations, because it RUINS their night vision! Here at TheLasikflap.com we hope that Dr. Terry Kim informs all of the committees on which he sits of this fact!

The blue area of the cirlce represents the fully corrected area. Any area that is not dark blue contributes to distortion of the retinal image.

This is surgery performed by Dr. Terry Kim, MD,is a mutilation - a refractive disaster.

Dr. Terry Kim is willing to perform LASIK on baskeball players, knowing they do NOT wear protective eyewear... but when playing basketball himself, HE wore protective eyeware. He hasn't even had LASIK. Dr. Terry Kim wears glasses, which for some reason do not appear in the photograph on the Duke website (?).

Hmmmm.
