I know, it sounds like an oxymoron, but this may be an additional place you can complain about your doctor. If your doctor is one of the worst, and has really made a mess of your case you may at least obtain a sympathetic letter and alert some people to a problem.

General questions may be. posed to the Ethics Committee via ethics@aao.org.

Although I submitted (I thought) was unrefutable evidence clearly showing the deviations of Drs. Herbert Nevyas and Anita Nevyas-Wallace, the AAO was clearly ignorant of the facts. It seems they also do what they can to protect their own:

I agree. The AAO is not concerned about unethical behavior in the LASIK industry. I read a letter that a patient got in response to a complaint which basically said "it's not our problem -- maybe you brought it on yourself".
