I finnally found contacts that have helped my vision after all this time.It is the proclear softs. The regular soft lenses would collapse into my corneal distortions and change focus on every blink but these are pretty stable.
I am experiencing some relief of the aniseikonia and I can't believe it.
I can even see pretty good.
Don't overlook these, they are the most comfortable I have ever worn and they seem to bridge the laser burnt hills and valleys and not collapse.Thank God.
Guess I should have gotten contacts to start with because now they will be a requirement for me to function visually.
Lasik surgery=worse decision of my life, but I can't help it if I was lied to.

Lasick, this is terrific news! You are very fortunate that you can wear these lenses. Many former high myopes cannot. If these lenses end up giving you problems, you could also consider the new SynergEyes lenses that dramatically improved Broken Eye's vision.

Lasick, you are ABSOLUTELY correct that you can't help it if you were lied to. We were all lied to by the study investigators who performed clinical trials for these surgeries, by the FDA, by the laser manufacturers and by our surgeons.

I notice that self-recrimination is very common in patients damaged by corneal refractive surgeons. This needs to stop. Bad laser eye surgery is NOT the patients' fault. I'm glad you realize this because it will help you recover faster - it is hard to heal wounds if you are preoccupied with self blame over a situation where you had insufficient information to make an informed decision.
