In astronomy and cosmology, dark matter is a type of matter hypothesized to account for a large part of the total mass in the universe. Dark matter cannot be seen directly with telescopes; evidently it neither emits nor absorbs light or other electromagnetic radiation at any significant level. Instead, its existence and properties are inferred from its gravitational effects on visible matter, radiation, and the large scale structure of the universe. Dark matter is estimated to constitute 84% of the matter in the universe and 23% of the mass-energy.

How does dark matter affect they eye...nobody knows....but
the bombardment of an atom by a dark matter particle can perhaps knock apart the atoms in the Earth and in people gradually. Many sinkholes may be caused by a weakly interacting massive particle orbiting through the Earth in a spot and popping back out somewhere else on Earth in a Kepler 2-body closed string orbit. They may orbit for months. A neutrino is their little brother. The particle can weigh as much as 1x10e12 kg? and trigger sonic booms and upsets in the sky when it first enters into orbit.

The point is God gives humans a body and eyes that for the most part work pretty well in relation to the universe. What lasik and related surgeries do is disturb this harmonic balance in as yet not totally known but probably very negative ways in my honest opinion.

Does not matter if a person says he or she is satisfied with the operation. If they cannot see they are an accident waiting to happen.
